Since moving to Ephraim, Scott has been involved in serving the residents of the community. Serving others is a central core belief.
In the last 11 years, Scott has served as a Republican State Central Committee member, bishop for over six years, three times as a Sanpete County State Republican delegate representing Ephraim City District 1, and is now serving as a Sanpete County Republican delegate from Ephraim. He also served as the Sanpete County Bee Inspector.
Scott received his bachelors degree from Utah State in 1984 and a masters degree in educational leadership from BYU in 1987. He has published numerous articles and three books on religious topics.
He has been employed by the LDS Church Educational System since 1984 and is currently an Institute teacher adjacent to Snow College.
John welcomes any comments, questions or ideas for Ephraim.
