[ARCHIVED] Vandalism in Ephraim City Parks

On the nights of Wednesday, May 15th and again on Thursday, May 23rd, the bathroom facilities at Canyon View Park (650 S. 100 E., Ephraim) were vandalized.  Damages from these incidents have included destroyed mirrors, soap dispensers, towel dispensers, toilet seats, sink fixtures, and exit signs, with urine and feces spread throughout the bathrooms.  Costs for repairs, including time cleaning, sanitizing, and reinstalling items are on top of the costs for replacing the broken items.  The city is extremely concerned about the destruction and would like your assistance.  If you have any information about who has committed these crimes, we ask that you contact Ephraim City Police at 283-4602.  If you see or hear of people destroying property, please contact police as soon as possible.
