[ARCHIVED] Fireworks Banned

***UPDATE 6/11/2018***

There have been some questions regarding this matter. Ephraim City is working with vendors to determine what types of fireworks will be permitted and which ones are a concern. This will go before City Council on June 20th. Look for further updates on June 21st. We don't want to ruin your celebration but we do want to keep safety in mind.

Ephraim City Council has banned setting off fireworks in Ephraim City limits this 4th of July. This is due to the very hot, dry weather and the low water that we are experiencing this year. The Council will re-evaluate the ban for the 24th of July.

In addition to that, there is no burning allowed in Ephraim unless it is in an approved, back yard fire pit.

Thank you for keeping the safety of our community in mind.
